Busy, well-established Pediatric practice in Suffern, NY, a beautiful community in the Hudson Valley, is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physicians' Assistant. We are a multi-practitioner practice with a strong culture of collaboration, support, and mutual respect. The practice is looking to support our patients' needs for availability and expert Pediatric care. Generous benefits package included. The practice is part of the BCHP network, with access to multiple specialties and resources. Schedule will be 3 or 4 days per week. Pay rate will be $65/hr-$80/hr, negotiable based on experience. Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients as appropriate according to the scope of practice Use evidence based, shared decision making tools whenever possible Document all encounters in the EMR Bill for services appropriately Perform population level health assessments such as vaccination reports to ensure that patients do not slip through the cracks and miss vaccinations or other tests Support the nurse and medical assistant on the care team Provide care in a patient-centered manner Attend medical home meetings Allow care team to work under standing orders to the top of their license Participate in pre-visit planning Take weekend call and night call according to the physician call schedule Maintain board certification and enrollment in professional societies Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service Other duties as assigned BCHP will recruit, hire, train, transfer, promote, layoff and discharge associates in all job classifications without regard to their race, color, religion, creed, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, age, gender, actual or presumed disability, history of disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic predisposition or carrier status, pregnancy, military status, marital status, or partnership status, or any other characteristic protected by law
