P Job Description Position Summary:
The FNP Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and oversight for the FNP track, providing leadership in the graduate program in collaboration with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
An Adjunct FNP Coordinator will: Support the mission of Ashland University and Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences Support Ashland University's philosophy of Accent on the Individual Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs in the development, implementation, and revision of the FNP curriculum utilizing nursing and professional standards Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs in evaluating the FNP track and preparing accreditation reports Participates in the FNP student recruitment activities and planning Collaborates with Director of Graduate Nursing Program to develop orientation and on campus experiences to ensure students are meeting competencies required by professional standards. Collaborate with Graduate Nursing Placement Coordinator regarding clinical needs, expectations, and strategies for quality clinical placement. Develop relationships with external partners Required Qualifications A doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) Current valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Credentialling as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Ohio Official transcripts verifying academic preparation Maintains clinical practice consistent with the requirements for FNP recertification Maintains CE consistent with the requirements for FNP recertification Maintains membership in professional organizations Preferred Qualifications Previous academic experience in a university setting with online programs Salary Variable Position End Date (if temporary) Job Open Date 07/22/2026 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Number of Vacancies 1 Physical Demands Special Instructions to Applicants
