Posting Number ADJ076P Job Description The PMHNP Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and oversight for the PMHNP track, providing leadership in the graduate program in collaboration with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs.
An Adjunct PMHNP Coordinator will:
Support the mission of Ashland University and Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences Support Ashland University's philosophy of Accent on the Individual Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs in the development, implementation, and revision of the PMHNP curriculum utilizing nursing and professional standards. Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs in evaluating the PMHNP track and preparing accreditation reports Participates in the PMHNP student recruitment activities and planning Collaborates with Director of Graduate Nursing Program to develop orientation and on campus experiences to ensure students are meeting competencies required by professional standards. Collaborate with Graduate Nursing Placement Coordinator regarding clinical needs, expectations, and strategies for quality clinical placement. Develop relationships with external partners Required Qualifications Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD). Current valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio. Nationally Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Credentialling as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. Official transcripts verifying academic preparation. Maintains clinical practice consistent with the requirements for PMHNP recertification. Maintains CE consistent with the requirements for PMHNP recertification. Maintains membership in professional organizations.
