You'll be part of a highly skilled team with the support you need to reach your full potential. Your Role at HEUC As a valued team member, you'll: Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications, and refer to outside specialists as required. Provide occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Workers' Compensation injuries. Perform pre-participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment. Utilize a telemedicine platform to evaluate and treat patients off-site, in addition to providing in-person care. Provide an authenticated report of all services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner. Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement. Maintain patient charts accurately and comprehensively. Be self-directed and self-motivated; have good communication, interpersonal skills and work independently. Be able to see a high volume of patients. Be experienced with pediatric patients and procedures. Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress, and/or grief. Communicate effectively with people from every socioeconomic, cultural, and educational background. Participate in activities that enhance professional development, complete and maintain certification in BLS or ACLS (ATLS, PALS, or NALS optional), and maintain any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
Current State License DEA Certification
ACLS/BLS
Certification Experience in urgent care or emergency care is preferred but not required. A commitment to patient-centered care and community impact.
