Job Description

Health Express Urgent Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant/ NURSE
PRACTITIONER
(PA OR NP) or Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing urgent care team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing high-quality care for patients of all ages with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Our providers work collaboratively with medical assistants, radiology staff, and front office teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries Perform physical exams and develop treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and EKGs Perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, etc.) Prescribe medications and provide patient education Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care Follow established clinical protocols and regulatory standards Qualifications Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Physician (MD/DO) licensed in the State of Ohio Current DEA license BLS certification required (ACLS preferred) Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and patient care skills Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available 12-hour shifts Weekend and evening availability preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly or salaried pay (based on experience) CME allowance Malpractice insurance coverage Paid time off (for full-time providers) Supportive clinical team environment About Health Express Urgent Care Health Express Urgent Care is committed to providing fast, convenient, and high-quality medical care to the communities we serve.
