FULL-TIME
opportunity for Nurse Practitioners! Searching for a family Nurse Practitioner licensed to work in Ohio with at least one year of NP work experience in primary care to provide on-site services. Flexible day shift schedule (4-10-hour shifts or 5-8-hour shifts) M-F 40-hours per week, no weekends!LOCATION
CALDWELL, OHIO
CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Educate patients on disease prevention and health promotion
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:
- Experience in a primary care setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical record systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for minor procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators for pediatric patients
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Skill in suturing minor wounds
- Knowledge of memory care for geriatric patients
