FULL-TIME
opportunity for Nurse Practitioners! Searching for a family Nurse Practitioner licensed to work in Ohio with at least one year of NP work experience in primary care to provide on-site services. Flexible day shift schedule (4-10-hour shifts or 5-8-hour shifts) M-F 40-hours per week, no weekends!

CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement patient care plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and health promotion
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:
  • Experience in a primary care setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in medical record systems and electronic health records (EHR)
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique for minor procedures
  • Ability to perform patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
  • Familiarity with neonatal ventilators for pediatric patients
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Skill in suturing minor wounds
  • Knowledge of memory care for geriatric patients
