Outpatient Orthopedics What You'll Do:
Advanced Practice Provider (APP), including the Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP), provides comprehensive patient care across acute, outpatient, and alternative care settings under physician supervision. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; prescribing medications; counseling patients and families; coordinating clinical services; and supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Communicates with referring or primary care physicians regarding patient care and treatment; Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, case managers and other advance practitioners.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
Advanced Degree in Physician Assistant studies and/or
NursingExperience:
Minimum Three (3) to Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in field or profession.
Skills:
Good organizational skills; exceptional customer service, and above average oral and written communication skills.
License/Certifications:
Licensed to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Ohio and certified by the
NCCPA OR
licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio. BLS required.
