Position Summary The PMHNP or PA will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults in an office-based outpatient setting. The provider will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. The position may also include opportunities to provide psychiatric services in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities contracted with Charak Center. Qualified providers may also participate as Sub-Investigators in industry-sponsored clinical research studies. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits. Examine and evaluate clients during medication-somatic office visits. Prescribe medications and provide appropriate prescription management. Complete treatment planning and clinical documentation accurately and timely. Review laboratory results and ensure appropriate follow-up and treatment. Administer injections as clinically indicated. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary treatment team. Coordinate care with other providers and community resources as appropriate. Provide patient and staff education, including didactic lectures and skills-building training when requested. Participate in after-hours call responsibilities as needed. Promote safety, quality care, and compliance throughout the department and agency. Perform other duties as assigned.

Clinical Schedule Follow-up appointments:

approximately 15 minutes, depending on payer and clinical requirements.

Initial appointments:

approximately 45 minutes, depending on payer and clinical requirements. Office-based outpatient care. Regular business hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional evening or Saturday hours based on patient and agency needs. Full-time providers generally work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Qualifications Required Master's degree in an applicable field. Current Ohio license as a PMHNP or Physician Assistant. Appropriate credentialing and qualifications consistent with applicable Ohio behavioral health and payer requirements.

For PMHNP candidates:

current Ohio Certificate to Prescribe, as applicable. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary behavioral health setting. Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Preferred Experience 2 years of experience as a PMHNP or PA. 1 year of mental health or behavioral health experience.
