Nurse Practitioner - Medical Aesthetics NorthCoast Laser MedSpa | Mentor, Ohio Part-Time | Potential for Growth Position Overview NorthCoast Laser MedSpa is seeking a professional, motivated, and personable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing aesthetics team. We are looking for a provider who is passionate about medical aesthetics, patient care, and helping clients achieve natural, individualized results. The ideal candidate is confident working independently while also enjoying a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in aesthetics is preferred; however, we are open to candidates with strong clinical skills and a genuine interest in developing their expertise in aesthetic medicine. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient consultations and medical assessments Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans Perform injectable treatments within training, competency, and scope of practice, including: Neurotoxins Dermal fillers Other approved injectable treatments offered by the practice Evaluate patients for laser, skin rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures Provide appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment education Recognize, manage, and appropriately escalate potential treatment complications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records Obtain appropriate medical histories, consents, and treatment photographs Provide follow-up care and evaluate treatment outcomes Maintain current knowledge of aesthetic treatments, products, techniques, and safety standards Work collaboratively with the medical director and other members of the clinical and aesthetic team Participate in ongoing education and training Represent NorthCoast Laser MedSpa in a professional and positive manner Qualifications Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Ohio Current prescriptive authority as applicable to the position Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current BLS certification Strong assessment, communication, and patient-education skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a customer-service-focused medical environment Interest in medical aesthetics and continued professional development Previous experience with aesthetic injectables, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics is preferred but not required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has a warm, confident, and professional personality Values natural-looking aesthetic results Takes patient safety and ethical treatment recommendations seriously Is comfortable educating patients rather than simply "selling" treatments Is interested in building a loyal patient following Enjoys learning new aesthetic techniques and technologies Works well with nurses, aestheticians, administrative staff, and medical leadership Is interested in growing with the practice long-term Schedule Part-Time Schedule and number of days per week can be discussed based on experience and availability. Some flexibility for evenings and/or select Saturdays may be preferred depending on practice needs. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, aesthetic training, and qualifications. Opportunities for additional compensation and growth may be available based on performance, experience, and expanded responsibilities.
