Job Description
NP needed in Springfield OH Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Position Overview Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner to support our growing Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery department. As the only full-service hospital in Clark County, our Level II Trauma Center provides comprehensive, high-quality care to adult and geriatric populations. This position offers an immediate start date with ongoing, predictable blocks of coverage through the end of the year and into 2027. Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient post-operative care for all cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients. Assist in the operating room, including performing emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients. Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for use as bypass conduits. Conduct inpatient rounding and manage daily caseloads of 20 to 26 hospital patients. Manage consultations and referrals from the Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers. Order, interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate care plans, and write prescriptions. Utilize the Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation.
