Ocean Wounds is seeking an Ohio-licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our mobile wound care team serving Wellston and surrounding Southern Ohio communities . This is a consistent 1-day-per-week 1099 opportunity designed for an NP looking to add a reliable clinical day to their schedule. As our coverage needs grow, there may also be opportunities to pick up additional days and nearby areas .

In Person What You'll Do Perform wound assessments and evaluations Develop and manage individualized wound care plans Evaluate and treat pressure injuries, diabetic wounds, surgical wounds, and other complex wounds Perform wound care procedures and debridement within your scope of practice Monitor healing and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with facility nursing staff Complete clinical documentation Provide ongoing wound management for skilled nursing and long-term care patients
What We're Looking For Required:
Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license Current national board certification Ability to practice independently as an NP in Ohio Reliable transportation Comfortable traveling between assigned facilities Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Wound care experience is preferred, but NOT required. We welcome NPs with backgrounds in: Family Practice Primary Care Internal Medicine Geriatrics Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care Post-Acute Care Wound care certifications such as WCC, CWCN, CWS, or similar are a plus.
