Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Care

APRN / PA

to join our Hospitalist Group in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, be committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a nocturnist position, providing coverage during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the hospital setting. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Nocturnist Coverage:

Provide 7am-7pm coverage during daytime hours, ensuring continuous and effective patient care. Manage and coordinate admissions consultations as needed. Manage all acute care Patients oversighting their care and Plans.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver seamless patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and addressing concerns.

Quality Improvement:

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety. Stay updated on current medical literature and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications:

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification. Current and unrestricted APRN or PA license in the state of Oklahoma. Minimum of 1 years of experience in acute care or hospitalist settings preferred but not required. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7 days ON and 7 days OFF (7AM-7PM)
