Oklahoma Position Overview We're seeking dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioners to join our team. Create your own schedule—providing advanced wound care with no weekend or holiday call. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound evaluations (size, depth, tissue type, exudate, periwound condition). Develop and update evidence-based wound care plans per current clinical guidelines. Apply advanced modalities including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT),advanced dressings, biologics, and debridement techniques. Monitor for infection and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate patients and caregivers on wound-care techniques, nutrition, and pressure-injury prevention. Accurately document all patient encounters and treatments in our EMR system. Ensure strict adherence to state regulations, CMS guidelines, and agency policies. Required Qualifications Active NP license in Oklahoma with prescriptive authority (Physician Assistants accepted) National NP certification (ANCC or AANP) BLS certification Minimum 1 year of wound-care experience preferred (prior experience as a medical-surgical nurse or ICU nurse will be considered) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned metro areas Compensation & Contract Details W2 Per Diem position. You're paid per completed visit on a tiered scale based on the clinical complexity of each visit — not an hourly rate. Tier 1 -
Quick Check-In:
$50/visit Wound assessment or treatment application with no cutting or repair work. Tier 2 -
Standard Procedure:
$75/visit One hands-on treatment, typically debridement. Tier 3 -
Complex Visit:
$125/visit Multiple treatments in a single visit — e.g., debridement plus imaging and compression.
•Patient Visit Volume will increase as patient load increases but on average we expect 4+ patients per day

$200.00 - $500.00 per day
