Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to evaluate health status. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and sterile processing as needed. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, disease management, and preventive care strategies. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice in your state. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those in hospice & palliative care settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for medical documentation and data management. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and pharmacology principles. Experience performing clinical procedures like phlebotomy, venipuncture, dermal fillers (nice-to-have), spinal taps (nice-to-have), and ultrasound sonography (nice-to-have). Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma center environments preferred; hospital medicine or emergency room experience highly valued. Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), HIPAA compliance standards, and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Excellent client communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
