Job Description

## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough medical evaluations of veterans for disability claims with the VA, documenting findings in detailed reports according to VA guidelines. Requires a valid medical license and excellent clinical skills. Need to have NP or PA license for at least 2 years. ## Responsibilities Perform detailed evaluations of veterans' physical health, with a focus on claimed disabilities. Obtain complete medical histories, review prior medical records, and assess current symptoms and conditions. Prepare comprehensive and accurate medical reports documenting findings from the examinations. Ensure that reports are in compliance with VA protocols and are submitted within designated timeframes. Assess the severity and impact of veterans' disabilities and determine the connection to military service. Handle all medical records and personal information with the utmost confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. ## Skills Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills to assess a wide range of physical conditions. Ability to interpret complex medical information and provide accurate assessments. Attention to detail in documenting medical findings and completing reports accurately. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines for report submission. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other medical documentation software.
