This role offers an opportunity to apply advanced nursing skills, critical thinking, and compassionate care to improve patient outcomes. Candidates should have strong communication skills, evidence-based practice knowledge, and experience in rheumatology or related specialties such as dermatology, gastroenterology, or nephrology. Perform thorough patient assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories to develop diagnosis and treatment plans. Perform joint injections and manage complex cases involving multiple organ systems. Utilize EMR systems like NextGen to document encounters accurately, maintaining HIPAA compliance. Interpret lab and x-ray results, oversee the infusion suite, and handle limited holiday and weekend call, without hospital rounding. Starting at 2-3 days/week with potential to expand to 4 days. Compensation ranges from $55.00 to $60.00 hourly. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, CME allowance, long-term disability, life insurance, profit sharing, and 401(k). This is an in-person position with a flexible schedule. Limited holiday and weekend call required.
