A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner provides mental health and nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems. Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Bucks County Department of Corrections in Doylestown, PA. This is a 40 hour/week position, Monday's - Friday's normal business hours (7a-3:30p/8a-4:30p).

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner. Board Certified Must have two or more years' experience as a PMHNP. Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Pennsylvania. Maintain current DEA license. Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification. Maintain current Driver's License.
