Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial and follow-up physical exams on patients in outpatient, SNF, or home-care settings Take detailed patient histories and develop differential diagnoses based on clinical presentation Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, EMGs, lab work, and imaging studies Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physiatrists Perform minor in-office procedures (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections - training available if needed) Provide patient education on injury prevention, functional recovery, and chronic disease management Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, and primary care physicians Accurately document patient encounters in a timely manner using EMR systems Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning for complex cases
