Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. In this role, you will serve as an advanced practice provider, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes, promote wellness, and support the overall efficiency of our clinical operations. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical conditions. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations, and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and dermal fillers while maintaining sterile technique. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines—such as cardiology, gastroenterology, behavioral health, and emergency medicine—to coordinate care effectively. Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and billing information. Provide telehealth consultations to extend access to care for remote or underserved populations. Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, medical imaging, and specimen processing to inform clinical decisions. Skills Extensive experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for seamless documentation and data management. Proficiency in performing advanced procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and ventilator care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including CPT coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in managing acute pain cases, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, and behavioral health issues. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including teenagers, adults, and seniors. Competence in performing sterile procedures such as cyst removal and joint injections, Botox, Dermal fillers, or open to learning.
