A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner provides mental health and nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems. Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with an interdisciplinary team
- Make treatment recommendations for psychotherapeutic interventions and medications
- Collaborate with facility staff on behavioral strategies and care planning
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule, the flexibility to manage your own time, and no on-call duties. What We're Looking For
- Active and valid CRNP license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Passion for patient-centered care in long-term or geriatric settings
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
