Schedule:
Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 PM-6:00
AM Additional Shift:
Every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM-6:00
AM Overtime:
After 80 hours every 2 weeks
Call:
No call
Credentialing Timeframe:
60-90 days
License:
Active Pennsylvania NP or PA license required Responsibilities Assess patients entering the facility during the night shift. Evaluate and provide initial treatment for acute and chronic medical conditions. Evaluate and manage urgent and emergent medical issues as they arise. Supervise the initiation of detox treatment for newly incarcerated individuals in collaboration with substance use specialist nurses. Provide appropriate medical care to the correctional facility's patient population. Document patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical findings accurately. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Patient Population Primarily adult patients , including men and women. Rare adolescent patient encounters may occur. Requirements Current and active Pennsylvania NP or PA license . Family Medicine experience preferred. Ability to assess and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to urgent and emergent situations.
