Provides comprehensive care to patients in collaboration with physicians, demonstrating autonomy in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications within scope, and performs procedures as permitted. Engages in patient education, communication with the healthcare team, and ensures safe, ethical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose patients, developing and implementing treatment plans. Accurately document patient information and order diagnostic tests, interpreting results to guide care. Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications and therapies appropriately. Report significant findings or risks to collaborating physicians. Perform procedures within licensed scope and communicate effectively with team members and patients. Provide health education and act as patient advocate, ensuring understanding and confidence. Follow policies and guidelines to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and ethical standards are essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting is expected.
