Job Description

Join a warm, collaborative behavioral health team in Reading, PA where you'll make a real difference for children and adolescents. This full-time role offers a predictable, family-friendly schedule - four days a week (three days 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and one extended day 8:00 AM-7:00 PM) - so you can provide consistent care while maintaining work-life balance. What you'll do: Perform outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, and manage medications for pediatric and adolescent patients. Work closely with therapists, pediatricians, and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team. Keep clear, timely documentation and follow state and federal regulations. Coordinate care with families, schools, and other providers to support the child's overall well-being. Compensation & benefits: Competitive salary range: $165,000-$180,000, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Malpractice insurance with tail coverage CME allowance and paid CME time Coverage of professional association dues and licensing fees Supportive, team-oriented workplace Who we're looking for: Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania NP license Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; pediatric experience or certification strongly preferred 1-2 years' clinical experience in child/adolescent psychiatry (new graduates with strong pediatric backgrounds will be considered) Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills If you're a pediatric-focused Psychiatric NP seeking a meaningful role with a great schedule and strong community support, we'd love to hear from you.
