1099 Independent Contractor About Us We are a family-owned outpatient primary care clinic located in The Woodlands, Texas, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing primary care practice on a part-time basis. This provider will deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, preventive medicine, and patient education. This is an in-person position only at our clinic in The Woodlands, Texas. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available. The schedule consists of two days per week on a rotating weekday schedule: Week 1: Monday & Thursday Week 2: Tuesday & Friday This rotation repeats on an ongoing basis. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan. Provide preventive care, annual wellness exams, and routine health screenings. Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with licensure and scope of practice. Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma, and other common primary care diagnoses. Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to provide exceptional patient care. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and professional practice standards. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Texas Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license or current, unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) license. Current DEA registration and Texas prescribing authority. Minimum of one (1) year of primary care experience as an FNP or Physician Assistant is required. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. What We Offer Competitive 1099 compensation.
