Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join its Inpatient Behavioral Health team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, a 276 bed hospital with a 26 bed Behavioral Health Unit. Monday- Friday coverage needed Scheduling by mutual agreement Perform initial assessments, monitor daily progress, and discharges Provide medication management and psychotherapy when appropriate Partner with care coordination teams, families, and patients Assess and manage crisis situations Fully integrated EHR (Epic) This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a healthcare system focused on quality, transformation, and innovation. Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license.
