Requirements Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner with specialization in psychiatry or mental health. Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant state or region. Experience in psychiatric care, including client communication, patient assessment, and medication management. Knowledge of prescribing medications within the scope of practice for advanced practice providers. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
