This is a part-time 1099 independent contractor opportunity with the potential to grow into a larger role as the practice continues to expand. We serve children, adolescents, and adults and are looking for a PMHNP who is comfortable working with a diverse client population and values a collaborative, client-centered approach to mental health care. Position Highlights Part-time 1099 independent contractor position Flexible schedule based on your availability In-person appointments available in our Watertown, CT office Telehealth available throughout Connecticut , when clinically appropriate Opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults Referrals provided to help build your caseload EHR provided for clinical documentation and practice management Advertising and marketing provided by the practice Collaborative relationship with an established therapy practice Opportunity to grow your caseload and role with the practice over time Professional, supportive, and welcoming practice environment Responsibilities Complete psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions within your scope of practice Provide medication management when clinically appropriate Develop individualized treatment plans Monitor treatment response and adjust treatment as appropriate Collaborate with therapists and other providers when appropriate Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care Qualifications Current Connecticut PMHNP license Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Prescriptive authority in Connecticut Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or a combination of these populations Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently in a private-practice setting Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care Professional malpractice insurance required Independent Contractor Details This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity . The PMHNP is responsible for maintaining their own professional malpractice insurance and all applicable independent-contractor tax obligations. Benefits are not provided with this position. Waterview Counseling Services will provide office space, EHR access, referrals, and practice advertising/marketing support to help the clinician establish and grow their practice within our practice.
