Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - VA Disability Exams-Part-time hybrid Part-Time | 1-2 Days per Week | Hybrid Marshall, TX HCRI is hiring NPs and PAs to conduct VA disability determination exams for an independent medical examination group. These structured, evaluation-only clinics offer a predictable workflow with no administrative burden. NP/PA Responsibilities Perform forensic, low-acuity outpatient disability exams using
VA DBQs Evaluation-only:
no ongoing care, prescribing, procedures, treatment plans, or follow-up Complete focused histories and physical exams and document objective findings Review medical records as needed and submit DBQs accurately and on time Use our electronic platform, with documentation completed remotely after clinic NP/PA Schedule 1-2 days per week Part-time, flexible schedule No nights, call, or weekends Defined clinic blocks at HCRI-leased, equipped medical offices NP/PA Pay $30 per completed/accepted DBQ, paid monthly Typical productivity: approximately $60-$100+ per hour , depending on exam mix and pace $5,000 bonus after 500 accepted DBQs Typical 8-hour day: approximately $540-$900 NP/PA Training / Coverage / Technology Malpractice coverage provided Onboarding approximately 6-8 hours, self-paced, including credentialing and training VA training is free and CME-eligible Provider supplies a computer and reliable internet; hardware is not provided NP/PA Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing in Texas New graduates are welcome VA/disability exam experience is not required Strong fit for detail-oriented clinicians who enjoy structured examinations and documentation
Pay:
$60.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
