Job Description

Job Overview Small, private, concierge-type practice seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a one-physician practice in a permanent position with excellent growth potential. Outpatient only, no call, daytime hours only. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a beautiful, home-like environment where patients become like family. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your broad communication and clinical skills to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day through long term disease management, simple acute care, and preventative medicine excellence. Very flexible work schedule (8-35 hours/week) with potential work-from-home telemedicine days as well. This is an opportunity to join a quadruple-boarded physician with 26 years of experience to truly sharpen your skills. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and diagnostic evaluations. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions related to family practice, ADULT
CARE ONLY.
Utilize Athena electronic health record (EHR) for accurate medical documentation and medical records management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate referrals. Provide telehealth consultations and participate in outpatient clinics to expand access to quality healthcare services related to family practice and addiction medicine (long term, very stable patients only). Basic office/reception and medical assisting skills will be required as well (phlebotomy, EKG, etc - will train) NO advanced procedures (NO such as suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, and dermal filler injections). Requirements Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification to prescribe medications under state law. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation. Excellent client communication skills and outgoing personality. Pay:
$60.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 35.0 per week
