Job Description
Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Remote- Part-Time Schedule Requirements Primarily remote position Must attend the office 2 days per month Must be available for on-call coverage on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as needed. Responsibilites Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and consultations for new and existing clients. Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate. Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care. Respond to crisis situations and provide clinical intervention when necessary. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including: Psychiatric assessments Treatment plans Progress notes Medication informed consents Treatment plan reviews Maintain patient records in accordance with federal, state, agency, and payer requirements. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals regarding client treatment plans. Provide psychiatric consultation and clinical guidance to staff. Assist with the development and review of medical policies, procedures, and best practices. Maintain a valid collaborating agreement with a psychiatrist, as required by Ohio regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Active Ohio Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license. Active DEA License Ability to independently conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management services. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent documentation and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications PMHNP-BC or PMHNP-C Certification Psychiatric Mental Health specialization Experience with telehealth psychiatric services Knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric emergency stabilization Strong crisis intervention skills Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Ideal Candidate You are a patient-focused psychiatric provider who is passionate about improving access to quality behavioral healthcare.
