About BlueGlove Primary Care BlueGlove Primary Care is a developing adult primary-care practice serving Canton and the surrounding Cherokee County community. Our hybrid care model will combine telehealth, in-person care, and select home visits to make primary care more accessible and easier to navigate. We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who values continuity of care, patient education, and meaningful patient relationships. As an early member of our clinical team, the selected provider will also have an opportunity to offer input as we develop our clinical workflows and patient-care model. Position Details Part-time, permanent W-2 position Approximately 16-24 hours per week Flexible hybrid schedule Telehealth work may be completed from home when appropriate Local travel for select home visits in Canton and surrounding Cherokee County $60-$65 per hour, based on relevant experience Potential opportunity to transition to full-time employment as the practice grows, if mutually desired Responsibilities Provide primary care to adult patients age 18 and older through telehealth, in-person appointments, and select home visits Perform histories, physical examinations, clinical assessments, and preventive-care visits Diagnose and manage common acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions Develop evidence-based treatment plans within the provider's scope of practice Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Georgia law and the applicable physician agreement Educate patients about their conditions, medications, treatment plans, and preventive-health needs Provide appropriate follow-up after hospital discharge or changes in a patient's condition Order and review appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and referrals Coordinate care with the supervising or delegating physician, specialists, pharmacies, laboratories, imaging facilities, and other healthcare partners Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Recognize cases requiring physician consultation, emergency evaluation, or a higher level of care Contribute practical clinical input as BlueGlove develops its workflows and standards of care Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Current national board certification At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience practicing as an NP or PA Experience in adult primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, urgent care, hospital medicine, transitional care, or a closely related setting Current BLS certification Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while consulting and collaborating appropriately Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for select home visits Ability to provide compassionate, respectful care to adults from varied backgrounds Preferred Qualifications Experience in adult primary care or internal medicine Experience managing chronic conditions Experience caring for Medicare beneficiaries Experience with telehealth, care coordination, geriatrics, or post-discharge care Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 documentation requirements Why Join BlueGlove?
