Tranquil Tides Psychiatry & Wellness, PLLC is expanding to the Jacksonville/St. Johns area and is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing practice. This is an opportunity to help build a new location from the ground up while maintaining the flexibility of a hybrid schedule . The position will begin part-time with a 1099 arrangement for the foreseeable future , with the potential for increased hours as the patient panel grows.

The ideal candidate:

Florida-licensed

PMHNP-BC

with ANCC board certification Minimum 2 years of experience practicing independently as a PMHNP Comfortable treating patients ages 6 and older Current DEA registration and able to prescribe controlled substances Clean background check Comfortable working independently and managing their own patient panel Willing to provide in-office care independently as part of a hybrid practice Flexible regarding in-office days, particularly during the initial growth period Comfortable building a patient panel gradually as the new location develops Compassionate, professional, and aligned with a personalized approach to psychiatric care

Preferred:

Dual certification as

FNP-BC/PMHNP-BC

, with an interest in supporting the practice's wellness services as appropriate. A collaborating physician will be provided . Anticipated start date is December 2026/January 2027 , allowing time for credentialing and onboarding.
