We are an integrative, supportive private practice dedicated to providing high-quality medication management and psychotherapy to individuals ages 5 and up, with a strong focus on LGBTQIA+ affirmative care. We purposefully built our practice to break away from the high-volume, high-burnout "patient factory" model: Your appointments are as long as you need them to be. Your caseload stays small, allowing true rapport-building and meaningful therapeutic relationships. You only see patients who align with your clinical focus and skill set. What Makes This Role Different True Autonomy & Work-Life Balance:
33-40 hours per week. Customize your weekly schedule (e.g., take Mondays off, run four 10-hour days, or work a shorter Friday). Evening coverage up to 8:00 PM required across the team; weekends are entirely optional.
Dedicated Administrative Support:
Focus on clinical care while our knowledgeable Practice Manager and Medical Assistants handle prior authorizations, scheduling, and administrative logistics.
Integrative Clinical Approach:
Combine psychopharmacology with supportive therapy. We provide ongoing training for NPs interested in expanding their therapy skill set.
Collaborative Culture:
Work with an encouraging group of PMHNPs and clinicians who actively consult and support one another. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments (ICD-10) for patients across the lifespan. we are looking for people who see children or adults. Formulate individualized, holistic treatment plans integrating evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications. Provide culturally competent, LGBTQIA+-affirming care in both telehealth and in-person settings. Manage psychotropic medications safely, monitoring for efficacy, tolerability, and clinical progress. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record system. Collaborate with internal colleagues and outside providers to ensure smooth, coordinated care.
Qualifications & Skills Licensure:
Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Massachusetts. Must reside in
Massachusetts Population Focus:
Experience or strong clinical interest in working with children, adolescents, or adults.
Clinical Focus:
Strong foundation in psychopharmacology with a genuine interest in delivering integrative therapy (training provided).
