We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional committed to providing exceptional psychiatric care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facility and telehealth platforms. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with DEA regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy, and lifestyle modifications to optimize patient outcomes. Collaborate closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care. Provide telehealth consultations and follow-up appointments to ensure continuous support for patients across different locations. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to foster recovery and resilience. Requirements Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid TN state licensure and DEA licensure. Proven experience working with behavioral health populations across age groups, including children and geriatrics. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication administration and drug enforcement regulations. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for efficient medical documentation. Experience in diverse clinical settings such as outpatient clinics or telehealth platforms. Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations when necessary and understand physiology relevant to mental health conditions.
