Collaborative and team-oriented Professional but relaxed Growth-focused with real opportunities for advancement Flexible, while still maintaining strong clinical standards Position Overview We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about providing high-quality care and thrives in a collaborative outpatient setting. Evening availability is required , and this role must be comfortable working with children and adolescents , in addition to adults. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management Assess, diagnose, and treat children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral and mental health disorders Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement and NJ regulations Collaborate with therapists and the clinical team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Complete all documentation in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices Order and interpret labs or diagnostic testing as needed Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members when clinically appropriate Maintain responsiveness to client and team communication Qualifications Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a psychiatric focus Board Certified PMHNP through ANCC Active, unrestricted APRN license in New Jersey Active, unrestricted DEA license Minimum 1-2 years of direct psychiatric care experience Experience working with children and adolescents is required Ability to work evening hours is required Preferred Credentialed with major commercial insurance panels Experience with telehealth services NJ Medicaid provider (or willingness to obtain) Why Sage This is a place where you can do meaningful work, feel supported by your team, and still enjoy your day-to-day.
