Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across all ages and settings. Prescribe medications, following best practices and regulatory guidelines. Perform patient care activities such as vital signs monitoring, patient assessment, and physiological evaluations to inform treatment decisions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document medical records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health support for remote or underserved populations Maintain detailed medical documentation of patient encounters, medication administration records, and treatment progress. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication use, lifestyle modifications, and safety protocols.
