Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your focus will be on delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric diagnostic assessments Prescribe medications within the scope of collaborative practice agreements, adhering to DEA regulations, and clinical standards. Provide ongoing medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness and side effects. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care for diverse populations as needed. Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, primary care providers, nurses, and other community- based professionals. Document all patient interactions ( assessments, progress notes, and medication management) accurately using EMR/EHR systems . Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options and recovery. Support crisis assessment, stabilization, and referral when clinically appropriate. Provide culturally responsive, trauma- informed, and person-centered care. Promote recovery-oriented treatment and reduce stigma surrounding mental health services. Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) certification. Current APRN/NP License in Arkansas. DEA registration and prescriptive authority, as applicable. Experience providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management preferred.. Experience with community mental health, integrated care, substance use disorders, and underserved populations is a plus. Strong clinical judgement, communication, and documentation skills.
