Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This advanced practice provider will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care through client assessments, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning. The position offers flexibility with primarily telehealth services, with the requirement to be available for in-person appointments at our Redmond, OR office under regulatory guidelines. The role is intended to transition into a full-time position once the provider has established their own patient panel. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including pediatrics, to evaluate mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with DEA regulations and best practices. Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems effectively for documentation, treatment planning, and communication. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches. Communicate effectively with clients to provide education, support, and ongoing mental health management. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to prescribing and patient safety. Provide mostly telehealth services with the flexibility to conduct in-person appointments at the Redmond, OR office as needed. Qualifications Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Psychiatric Mental Health. Proven experience in psychiatric care, including medication management and client communication. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Familiarity with prescribing medications within DEA regulations. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong assessment skills across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics. Flexibility to adapt between telehealth and in-person appointments under regulatory guidelines. Pay:
$85.00 - $95.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
