This is a part-time, hybrid 1099 independent contractor position providing a combination of in-person and telehealth psychiatric services. We are looking for a provider who values patient-centered, collaborative, culturally responsive, and neuroaffirming mental health care. Experienced PMHNPs and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Clinical support and mentorship are available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions Develop individualized treatment plans Provide psychiatric medication management Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient safety Provide supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation when appropriate Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, families, schools, and other professionals when clinically appropriate Maintain professional, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant standards of care Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program Current California Nurse Practitioner licensure Current PMHNP board certification California furnishing/prescriptive authority as applicable DEA registration or ability to obtain one Professional liability insurance Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and seek consultation appropriately Previous psychiatric experience preferred but not required New graduate PMHNPs are welcome to apply Schedule Part-time Approximately 16-24 hours per week Minimum availability of 2 days per week

Compensation is based on collected revenue for services personally rendered. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
