Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Pennslyvania. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations and diagnostic assessments using ICD-10 coding standards. Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens in compliance with DEA regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Collaborate closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and treatment progress. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services across diverse geographic locations. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to foster ongoing wellness and recovery. Skills Proven experience working with behavioral health populations across inpatient, outpatient, or community settings. Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, and psychopharmacology. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient medical documentation. Ability to perform comprehensive initial psych evaluation, medication management and supportive therapy. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on empathy, education, and support for diverse age groups. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records. $80.00 - $120.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
