Job Description

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) $120,000-$140,000 | 4x10 or 5x8 Schedule | No Weekends or Holidays | Butler, MO A community-based healthcare organization in Butler, Missouri is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to help rebuild and expand its outpatient behavioral health program. This is an opportunity to serve a rural community with a significant need for psychiatric care, where access to behavioral health providers is currently extremely limited. The PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management while working closely with the organization's primary care providers. Historically, the behavioral health program has maintained a manageable volume with longer appointment times that allow providers to spend meaningful time with each patient. The organization is also interested in expanding behavioral health services through telehealth to additional clinic locations. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and is best suited for a PMHNP who is comfortable practicing independently and interested in helping shape the future of a behavioral health program. The schedule can be structured as either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days , with no regular weekends or holidays. Some telehealth/remote flexibility may also be available.
