We provide an array of outpatient behavioral health services, which include individual, group and family therapy; medication evaluation and management; integrated behavioral health services.
Full Job Description Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct initial psychiatric assessments of new clients Maintain accurate medical records and schedules as per Agency standards Propose and deliver treatments, prescribe medications, monitor response & adverse events to treatments Participate in joint clinical case review meetings with program and case management staff to coordinate care for clients Participate in quality improvement process, including chart review for compliance with medical record keeping standards Educate patients & their families about relevant health conditions, obtain informed consent & prescribe or perform clinically indicated treatments Oversee patients' overall health & promote good health practices Adhere to Federal, State, & Local healthcare policies & regulations & meet professional care standards Collaborate with Medical Director in accordance with Collaboration Agreement Provide staff training, consultation and support in medication education and recordkeeping Provide psychiatric emergency intervention and management for program clients Skills Valid New Jersey PMHNP license Strong ethics and integrity Patience, positive attitude, and grace-under-pressure Pursuit of professional and clinical excellence Extensive knowledge of physical and psychiatric assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic health problems Ability to care for acutely and chronically ill patients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
