Job Description

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric/Mental Health) -
Children & Adults Location:
Bristol Rhode Island We are a well-established, growing neuropsychological and behavioral health practice seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Practice:
Our practice specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based mental health treatment. We serve a diverse patient population and are committed to providing thorough, high-quality care in a professional and collegial setting.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex clinical presentations, including ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Provide medication management and follow-up care Collaborate closely with psychologists, psychotherapists and referral sources Contribute to treatment planning based on neuropsychological findings Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (psychiatric) in Rhode Island Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team Excellent communication and documentation skills Insurance credentialing preferred Preferred (but not required): Experience in outpatient mental health or neuropsychological settings Familiarity with ADHD and executive functioning disorders Interest in integrative, team-based care

$40,000.00 - $166,764.03 per year
