A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner provides mental health and nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems. Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys providing excellent therapy and is looking to supplement an existing private practice or full-time position with additional referrals while maintaining flexibility and clinical independence. Responsibilities Provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to individuals and/or couples. Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation. Maintain an active Pennsylvania license and professional liability insurance. Communicate professionally with clients and the practice. Manage your own schedule and availability. Qualifications Active Pennsylvania license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. Independently licensed and in good standing. Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy. Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and documentation skills. Experience working with couples is a plus but not required.
