We are seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 65-day assignment in Rhode Island. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient civil and forensic psychiatric care during standard 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, managing patients with schizophrenia, mental health disorders, and various personality disorders. Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient civil and forensic psychiatric care. Manage patients with schizophrenia, mental health disorders, and personality disorders. Care for patients with serious and persistent mental illness who are incompetent to stand trial. Offer psychiatric care to patients found not guilty by reason of insanity and deemed unsafe for release. Address the needs of incarcerated individuals requiring specialized psychiatric care not available in correctional settings. Additional Information Board certification in Psychiatry required.
