Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician to join our new EM program in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in emergency medicine, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions efficiently and compassionately. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories to determine urgent health needs. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, etc. in accordance with clinical protocols. Manage acute pain and provide appropriate pain management interventions utilizing evidence-based practices. Prescribe medications within scope of practice while adhering to DEA regulations and ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care transitions. Utilize triage skills to prioritize cases efficiently in fast-paced emergency environment.
