Job Description

Shoreline BHS, a 501c3 non-profit agency, is seeking a part-time nurse practitioner (NP) with prescriptive authority to provide services to clients of Shoreline Behavioral Health System (SBHS) in a clinical outpatient setting. Assisting people who are struggling, through the lens of harm reduction and evidence-based approaches, will help combat the overwhelming addiction problem in our area. Join us in utilizing cutting edge approaches in the addiction field that will challenge you while providing you with rewarding experiences. Duties to include substance use disorder examinations, physical and mental status examinations, and medication management, including psychiatric medication management and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder. This position may occasionally be a part of clinical trials in partnership with
MUSC. POSTION HIGHLIGHTS
Participation in PEBA SC Retirement System Monday through Friday work week. Hours will vary based on part-time schedule. No on-call hours Working with an exciting team of professionals
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have completed an accredited nurse practitioner program with the ability to practice as a licensed nurse practitioner without limitations in the state of South Carolina with 1+ year's experience required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the psychiatric mental health field and providing services to clients with substance use disorders is desired but not required.
