Job Description
Carolina Heart Specialists is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology team in Lancaster, South Carolina. This is a full-time, outpatient cardiology position offering a Monday-Friday schedule with no call responsibilities. You'll join a collaborative team of seven cardiologists and experienced clinical staff in a practice focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. What You Can Expect Outpatient general cardiology Monday-Friday schedule No call responsibilities Established practice with seven cardiologists Collaborative, team-based environment Full-time, W-2 employment Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Support from an established cardiovascular organization The Role The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside our cardiologists in the evaluation and ongoing management of patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating and managing established and new cardiology patients Performing comprehensive cardiovascular assessments Developing and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Managing chronic cardiovascular conditions and follow-up care Reviewing diagnostic testing and clinical results Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care Collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical care team Qualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant 2+ years of direct cardiology experience strongly preferred Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain licensure Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Ability to work effectively within a collaborative cardiology team Why Carolina Heart Specialists?
