Wednesdays 9am-5pm Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-7pm Fridays & flexible rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm Job Summary Assesses, diagnoses and treats obesity and related issues, independently and as part of a healthcare team. General Accountabilities Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions. Prescribes medications. Educates patients about balanced nutrition and exercise. Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests. Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans. Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions. Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.

Job Qualifications Education:

Master's degree

Experience:

1-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Licenses/Certifications:

FNP Certification, Prescriptive Authority, & DEA License Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Active listening Active learning Critical thinking Social perceptiveness Basic computer skills Customer service Complex problem solving
