Job Description:
Lowcountry Urgent Care is hiring a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to provide as-needed coverage at our Pageland, SC clinic. This is a flexible, fixed-location role in a busy, well-established urgent care serving the Pageland community seven days a week. Ideal for a provider who wants to pick up shifts around an existing schedule.
What You'll Do:
Provide walk-in urgent care including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education Perform common urgent care procedures (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, joint injections) Complete medical records the same day as the patient visit Perform DOT physicals and occupational health services (drug screens, TB tests, employer physicals) Collaborate with the collaborating physician and clinic staff to deliver quality care Work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
What We're Looking For:
Active South Carolina FNP license in good standing (or ability to obtain) National certification (AANP or ANCC) DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start Current BLS; ACLS preferred Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred Comfortable managing high patient volume with strong documentation habits
